MMGY Global is a company dedicated to inspiring people through travel by sharing their clients' stories. They are seeking an Account Coordinator in New York to engage with clients in the travel industry, focusing on public relations and communication efforts.

Skills

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts) in communications, journalism or related field
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong news writing and reporting proficiency
  • Strong detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and juggle projects effectively
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Effective judgment and ability to anticipate, spot and fix problems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Computer proficiency and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Cision, MuckRack and other PR programs a bonus
  • Good sense of humor and a love for travel a must!
  • One year of prior internship or job-related experience in public relations, communications, marketing, journalism or related fields
  • Travel industry experience or knowledge a plus
