Description

We are looking to fill a Scientist III - Regulated Immunogenicity and Molecular Bioanalytics (Vaccines) position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in the Springhouse Innovation Park (Lower Gwynedd), PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. This position does not offer any sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to generate quality data to support IND and/or BLA filings.

  • Communicates results and provides unsolicited ideas to team and project lead through meetings and in reports.

  • Provide input as a collaborating scientist on method development reports and test method optimization, qualification and validation.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Demonstrates urgency and sensitive to meet project timelines

Qualifications – BS/MS in chemistry, materials science, engineering, or a related discipline

  • Scientist 3 – BS (3-5 years of relevant experience), or MS with 1-2 years of relevant experience

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in CRISPR and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies is essential. The role requires hands-on experience with routine molecular biology assays, including nucleic acid extraction and qPCR/dPCR, along with strong skills in data interpretation and quality control. Ability to follow established procedures, develop new protocols, and strong attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver ideas to an interdisciplinary team.

  • Proven experience thinking critically and ability to solve complex technical issues

  • Competent individual that maintains full accountability for data generated and can work collaboratively in an organized setting.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, GraphPad Prism, and electronic laboratory notebooks.

  • Experience with GxP and working in a regulated lab environment.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Familiarity with use of automation to generate data, perform data analysis, and notebook tracking to support test method execution.

  • Troubleshooting and reworking experiments based on data interpretation.

  • Experience analyzing and interpreting large data sets.
