The Opportunity: As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of Target's Vendor Income (VI) business. You'll be responsible for preparing journal entries, managing month-end close processes in compliance with SOX guidelines, and leveraging data analysis to drive insights and improvements. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technology solutions and document accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries.
• Facilitate timely and accurate month-end close processes.
• Perform recurring and ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis.
• Contribute to the implementation of new VI technology solutions.
• Document accounting and control processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
• Experience with data analysis and modeling.
• Proficiency in SAP General Ledger.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
