Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused telephonic service, utilizing knowledge of procedures and systems to meet and exceed member satisfaction
  • Consult with members to support easy navigation of online tools, including account balance checks and claim submissions
  • Resolve issues without management intervention, removing barriers for members and ensuring a seamless experience
  • Protect sensitive member information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Prioritize effectively to meet member service goals and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, with prior call center experience preferred
  • Comfortable learning new systems and technologies, with basic computer knowledge and skills
  • Ability to learn, memorize, and retain information, with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of medical/reimbursement terminology preferred, with ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical skills, with ability to work overtime as needed
