As a Netflix Tagger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our continuous integration platform.

Our continuous integration infrastructure, powered by Jenkins, is hosted across 30+ controllers and 1000+ build agents, running tens of thousands of build jobs daily. We are seeking talented individuals to join our team and help manage and evolve our CI platform to meet the needs of our users.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Driving feature work and taking ownership of services that are part of Netflix's continuous integration platform
• Maintaining and updating Jenkins and its build agents, plugins, and version improvements
• Collaborating with various platform groups to ensure seamless integration with our CI platform
• Assisting with large-scale code changes across multiple source code repositories
• Supporting clients with build and environment needs
• Working cross-functionally to build new services, tools, and data models to operationalize our workflows at scale
• Participating in product evaluations, team meetings, and presenting technical insights
• Staying up-to-date with new technologies and procedures to streamline and improve our rapid application development tooling and conventions

To succeed in this role, you should be:

• Self-driven and motivated to deliver top-tier solutions with minimal guidance
• Able to work collaboratively with engineers to understand their needs and build solutions
• Passionate about incorporating best practices and continuously improving

We would love to work with you if you have:

• Experience with Java or other JVM languages
• Familiarity with continuous integration structures like Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and others
• A passion for solving developer productivity challenges for engineers on an enterprise scale
• Expertise in designing and building APIs for clients, especially with GraphQL
• Experience working with microservice architectures
• Skills in relational and non-relational data stores
