As a Senior Network Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage our continuous growth worldwide, with a strong focus on maintaining a high level of Quality of Experience (QoE) for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cooperating with colleagues to operate, maintain, and upgrade our Open Connect network infrastructure deployed in over 80 locations worldwide.
• Working closely with internal teams and vendors to manage our global expansion, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a high level of QoE for our users.
• Collaborating with partners, carriers, data center providers, and our hardware vendors to manage and troubleshoot the network (circuits, cross-connects, and trouble case management).
• Contributing to and collaborating with members of our Network Engineering team to implement and support complex network designs while providing operational considerations and practical feedback.
• Developing and implementing automation solutions to increase efficiency and reduce timeframes for daily activities.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Significant professional experience in network engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of large-scale multi-vendor wide-area networks (Arista, Cisco, Juniper).
• Expert knowledge of IP routing, especially BGP and IS.
• Experience with the internet ecosystem, including concepts of interconnection, peering, and transit.
• Experience with MPLS, QoS, and DWDM concepts and technologies.
• Familiarity with network automation using Python.
