Join Our Team as a SkillBridge - Business Sales Account Manager and Drive Innovation

Verizon, a global leader in technology and communications, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SkillBridge - Business Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a participant of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program or the Hiring our Heroes Fellowship Programs, you will have the opportunity to leverage your sales expertise, excellent customer relations skills, and passion for technology to deliver innovative business solutions that transform the way businesses connect.

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Develop and qualify leads to drive sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques
  • Grow existing accounts and retain a loyal customer base
  • Consult with customers to identify business challenges and recommend tailored solutions
  • Presentation and creation of multi-product solution opportunities
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and educate customers on innovative business solutions
  • Track and report progress through sales force automation tools

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who thrives on crafting solutions to solve client problems. You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation
  • Willingness to travel within assigned geographic areas
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree or related certifications/college courses
  • Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience
  • Technology sales and educational experience, including SaaS sales, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools
  • Strong presentation skills in face-to-face and virtual environments
