Fully Remote Portuguese Translator - INTL Brazil

Insight Global is seeking to hire Translators for English to Portuguese Translation in a fully remote work setting. Reporting to the Sr. Postproduction Manager, the Contract Translator will assist in the review of translated text and audio files from English to Portuguese using Artificial Intelligence with the localization of the final product directed toward a Portuguese audience. The individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and linguistic integrity of the translated content. The ideal candidate should be fluent in both Portuguese and English, possess exceptional attention to detail, and have strong organizational skills. Other key responsibilities include:- -Review translated text and audio files for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established guidelines and standards.- Identify and correct any errors, inconsistencies, or linguistic issues in the translated content.- Verify that the translated material maintains the intended meaning and conveys the original message effectively.- Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, syntax, and terminology are used in the translated content.- Conduct research to verify the accuracy of specialized or technical terminology in the translations.- Collaborate with the team to provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.- Maintain clear and organized documentation, tracking any changes or corrections made.- Communicate effectively with project managers, translators, and other stakeholders to address any concerns regarding the translated content.We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience- Native fluency in the target language with an excellent understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and idiomatic expressions.- Proficient in English, with the ability to comprehend and evaluate the original English text.- Previous experience in translation or language review is highly desirable.- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in the translated content.- Exceptional organizational skills to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Eager to learn new software to execute translation errors online.- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.- Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and project requirements Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceFamiliarity with translation software and artificial intelligence voice generators.
