LinkedIn Must At the working level with the leadership team (they will create a milestone view, they will oversee the project team (very large team of workstream program/project managers) who will be creating the day-to-day deliverables) who has led a large-scale implementation in a healthcare environment, preferably in the area of Pharmacy Management? PBM is highly preferred. These people would be chosen for an interview first. They can also be coming from the healthcare payer side. This person will need IT experience. The Program Director, ePMO, exists within the ITOPS division aligned to a VP to provide the quality on-time execution of highly complex, multiple project(s) and/or program(s) related to new and optimized business capabilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for both strategic and tactical interface with senior level management from all areas of the company to provide solution planning, delivery, deployment, risk management and operational readiness in several key areas including the core administrative platforms as well as those electronic capabilities that face out to Members, Providers, Brokers, and Employers. Using a deep understanding of business services and capabilities, combined with solid IT engagement experience, the role will be accountable for ensuring that internal and external customers receive the expected business value from their assigned portfolio using quantifiable measures. The incumbent will work with the business areas to carry forward the business needs and concepts (the what ) and work with IT to determine the how in terms of a solution. These projects and/or services consist of multi-location, multi-year initiatives consisting of multiple initiatives and tasks with a portfolio budget averaging $50-$60+ million. Job Requirement

  • 10 years of Program/Project Management experience within the Healthcare industry.
  • MUST HAVE PBM implementation experience (Pharmacy Benefit Management)
  • Must be eligible for fulltime employment (sponsorship is not available).
  • Must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of the company s business practices and direction, business principles, and business processes, plus familiarity with the company s products and resources.
  • PMP certification.
  • Master's degree in business, IT or another related field
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business, Project Management or Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
  • 10 years of IT and business experience in large business transformation - strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of systems, across multiple enterprise-wide hardware and software platforms.
  • Previous technical management and delivery experience in a dynamic high-technology environment is a key to success in this position.
  • Ability to grasp technological opportunities and apply them to business opportunities and requirements.
  • Experience in project management and execution of multiple enterprise-wide development projects, particularly as a delivery lead on systems development, with working knowledge in all aspects of the systems development life cycle and project life cycle in a cross-functional environment.

  • Successfully developed and implemented applications using new and emerging technologies
  • established a successful track record of managing joint IT/business teams through life-cycle phases
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and persuade customers, associates, and management at all levels and thrive in a cross-functional environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication; an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. Experience in executive level reporting on strategic initiatives, developing and delivering effective executive presentations.
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills. Must have the credibility and finesse to deliver honest messages to the CEO and others at the executive level on feasibility of program/project deliverables.
