Responsibilities

Working within a team of professionals in developing mobility and transportation planning and engineering solutions for a multitude of transportation projects Traffic impact studies Traffic modeling using a variety of tools Safety studies Transportation planning analyses Research and interpret transportation data, community statistics and demographics to assess the mobility needs of a community Prepare written planning documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports Traffic data collection and tabulation Intersection and roadway level of service analyses Development, analysis and evaluation of traffic improvements Design of traffic control devices Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated Attention to detail Ability to think critically Strong computer skills Excel in working in a team environment Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with coursework in Transportation/Traffic Engineering (Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering would be a plus) Minimum of 0-1 years of civil / transportation engineering / planning experience Experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation or model-based design a plus Experience with VISSIM, Synchro and HCS a plus Experience with ArcGIS a plus Experience with… Apply To This Job
