Interoperability Digital Policy Specialist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Interoperability Digital Policy Specialist to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Legal and political analysis (and advice) on interoperability, AI and digital policy in general.
• Review and validation of deliverables under the policy contract tasks.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of the Interoperable Europe Act.
• Support cooperation with and engagement of EU Member States, notably through the Interoperable Europe Board, its working groups, and with partners.
• Contribute to papers and briefings upon request on digital policy at large.
• Contribute to the theoretical and conceptual development of digital government in light of the Act.
• Organize and conduct events and workshops, design and contribute to communication activities.
• Regular reporting to the project officer.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Have a minimum Bachelor's Degree
• Posses at least a 15 years of experience.
• Deep expertise in EU interoperability policy, with strong knowledge of the Interoperable Europe Act and its implementation framework.
• Skilled in legal and political analysis related to AI, digital policy, and interoperability.
• Proven experience in shaping policy, coordinating high-level meetings, and sustaining engagement with Member States.
• Adept at aligning public policy goals with technological solutions in digital transformation contexts.
• Track record of producing high-quality studies, reports, and impact assessments on AI, digital government, and tech policy.
• Active contributor to EU interoperability projects.
• Research background focused on EU digital policy development and strategic planning.
• Strong networking and negotiation skills, particularly in interinstitutional settings involving EU institutions.
• Experience engaging with expert groups such as the CIO Network and the Interoperability Expert Group.
• In-depth knowledge of the GovTech incubator initiative and its relevance to Interoperable Europe Act-labelled solutions.
• Skilled at analyzing and synthesizing complex documentation quickly and accurately.
• Effective communicator with the ability to deliver both technical and business-oriented presentations to varied audiences.
• Experienced in drafting clear, structured, and high-quality technical and policy documents.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
• Proficiency of English language at a minimum C1 level.
• Proficiency of French at a B2 level is considered an advantage.
