What will I be doing? We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Media Manager to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing our social media strategy, producing high-impact content, and driving audience engagement across key platforms. You’ll use your expertise in analytics to measure performance and optimize our digital presence to support brand growth and customer engagement. In this role You will lead the social media strategy and day-to-day management of a globally recognized gaming franchise’s social channel. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will create and execute engaging social campaigns, foster community engagement, and drive audience growth. This role offers the chance to creatively shape the social presence of a beloved gaming brand while collaborating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with brand guidelines and audience insights.
  • Set channel priorities, goals, and key performance indicators to meet business objectives.
  • Plan, create, and schedule compelling social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, product, and creative teams to design and promote social campaigns and game updates.
  • Facilitate content ideation sessions and team brainstorming to generate fresh concepts.
  • Monitor social channels daily for audience engagement, community sentiment, and moderation needs.
  • Identify and curate user-generated content, influencers, and creators to amplify brand messaging.
  • Provide regular performance reporting, social listening insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Manage social media operations with attention to quality, timeliness, and brand voice consistency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing social media strategy and operations, ideally within the gaming or entertainment industry.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable social media initiatives.
  • Strong copywriting skills with adaptability to different brand tones and audiences.
  • Experience managing large, high-volume social media channels and communities.
  • Knowledge of social media trends, tools, and best practices, with familiarity in analytics platforms (experience with Sprinklr or similar preferred).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Familiarity with the gaming space and enthusiasm for gaming culture is highly advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting major game publishers or related organizations.
  • Hands-on experience with community engagement strategies and influencer partnerships.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 suite and other productivity tools.
  • Experience in content moderation and social listening.
  • Passion for Minecraft or similar sandbox gaming titles is a strong plus.

Salary Range Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state is $100,000 to $110,000 per year. The final salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
