Bilingual UX Writer
About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Bilingual UX Writer proficient in both English and Arabic to join our growing product team. You will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and engaging user-facing content across our digital products. Your writing will directly impact the user experience, helping to guide users through complex interfaces in a way that is simple, accessible, and delightful.
Key Responsibilities:- Write clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for a range of products, including websites, apps, and other digital interfaces, in both English and Arabic.
- Collaborate with product designers, product managers, and developers to understand user needs and create content that enhances the overall user experience.
- Develop and maintain a consistent tone of voice across products while adapting the copy for different cultural and linguistic contexts.
- Conduct content audits to identify gaps and opportunities for improved UX writing.
- Test and optimize copy for readability, usability, and accessibility.
- Create and update microcopy (error messages, tooltips, CTAs, etc.) that improves user comprehension and task completion.
- Partner with the localization team to ensure seamless translation and adaptation of content.
- Work closely with UX researchers to understand user behavior, needs, and pain points, incorporating this feedback into content strategies.
- Ensure that copy aligns with the brand's voice and values while being culturally sensitive and relevant for Arabic-speaking users.
Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in both English and Arabic (verbal and written).
- Proven experience as a UX Writer, Copywriter, or Content Designer.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and the ability to create user-centric content.
- Experience working with Figma.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, taking feedback from multiple stakeholders and iterating on copy.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and content performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent grammar and proofreading skills in both languages.
- Experience in localization and adapting content for diverse cultural contexts is a plus.
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design.
- Experience working in fintech, e-commerce, or digital products.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities.
