Job title: MatLab Collegiate Tutor (PT) Company: Ngenius Tutoring and Test Prep Job description : Collegiate Tutor for Numerical Methods Mechanical Engineering Student (PT) Ngenius Tutoring is looking for an upperclassman college or graduate-level tutor for a Mechanical Engineering college student taking the Numerical Methods class. The basis of the course is using MatLab Engineering Software to solve Calculus-based engineering problems. Looking for a tutor to help students with MatLab programming and coding skills. The course is designed to introduce students to the appropriate scientific methods for numerically approximating the solution to engineering-related problems. We do have opportunities to work with other high school and college students on math (Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Cal, Calculus, Statistics, Differential Equations, etc. ), science, ACT prep, GRE, and all other subjects. We have high school students starting next week. We are open 7 days a week. During the week, we have morning, afternoon, and evening students. We tutor all day on Saturday and Sunday. Tutors choose the hours they want to work and must be consistent from week to week. Tutor Requirements: Know the content of the Numerical Methods class. Know how to use MatLab Engineering Software and have coding skills. Must be patient. Be able to explain concepts to struggling students. Reliable and shows up to scheduled appointments. We assist families who choose to homeschool as an option as well. Ngenius can help with the upper-level math and science courses. Sometimes parents are unable to help their students with these subjects. We can also help our home-school community with tutorials and ACT/SAT Prep.
