Compensation: $19.00 per hour Bonney Staffing has partnered with a local company who is growing their business this year! Their focus on product quality, customer service, and distributor support have made them a leader in their field. They are looking to expand their ever growing team and are searching for someone positive with a can do attitude, who can adapt well to changing conditions. The Web Machine Operator Trainee job in Portland, ME is responsible for machine operations, production, and general maintenance. You will have a solid understanding of setting up the press, hanging plates and adjusting feeder/delivery units, filling ink wells, water tanks and adjusting ink fountains for proper ink distribution. This is a full time position. Machine Operator Trainee Qualifications: • High school or equivalent preferred. • No previous experience required; experience in a production environment is beneficial. Mechanical aptitude is key! Be prepared to share your skill or experience with us. • Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs throughout a shift (10-12 hours). • Requires walking, lifting boxes,bending, pushing rolls and moving pallets. • Must be able to work with detail and be capable of interpreting special instructions. • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced digital production environment with tight deadlines. • Requires the ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment, ink/water problems and design layout configurations.
