Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our dynamic team, working in the water and wastewater industry. This position is fully remote and requires a PE License. Responsibilities • Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities. • Conduct load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation. • Provide field investigative and start-up support. • Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC standards. • Work with minimal supervision by a Senior Level Electrical Engineer (for Mid Level). Essential Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. • PE registration required. • 6 to 12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering for Mid Level; 10-15 years for Senior Level. • Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor. • Proficient in MS Word and Excel. • Excellent communication skills. • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting. • Ability to interact positively with clients. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with AutoCAD. • Familiarity with IEEE color book series. • Experience in industrial or large commercial backgrounds is also considered. Work Environment This position offers flexible work hours from 7 AM to 6 PM. The role involves minimal travel (5-10%), primarily for project deliverables and workshops. You will be part of a team of 45 electrical professionals across the country, working within the larger Electrical Programming Instrumentation and Controls team.
