Ansible Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ansible Specialist to join our client's IT/DevOps team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing build automation and maintenance tasks for our Windows Server-based IT infrastructure using Ansible Automation Platform, while adhering to all security and reliability principles.

Key Responsibilities

•             Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for automation of Windows Server configuration management and deployment processes.

•             Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

•             Monitor and troubleshoot Ansible deployments and playbook executions, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid issue resolution.

•             Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, procedures, and best practices.

•             Stay updated on the latest Ansible features and best practices and provide recommendations for improvements.

•             Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for team members on Ansible usage and automation strategies.

•             Participate in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

Qualifications

•             Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience and knowledge in this field.

•             Proven experience as an Ansible Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of Windows automation concepts and Ansible Automation Platform.

•             Proficiency in writing Ansible playbooks and familiarity with Ansible Automation Platform (including AAP management).

•             Experience with Windows Server systems and scripting languages (e.g., Powershell, Python).

•             Knowledge of Azure cloud platform and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

•             Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

•             Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
