Monitoring Aide (RMA), Sitter - Remote Monitoring
About the position
The Monitoring Aide (RMA) position involves providing continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients in a remote monitoring capacity. The aide is responsible for verbally redirecting patients from engaging in at-risk behaviors and alerting nursing personnel when assistance is needed or if there are changes in a patient's condition. This part-time role requires working night shifts and includes mandatory orientation.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients. ,

Requirements
- High School Diploma ,
- Completion of hospital orientation and required competency ,
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients using a microphone and headset ,
- Ability to communicate with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changes ,
- Ability to use discretion and courtesy when working with patients, visitors, and staff ,
- Basic Microsoft Windows experience ,
- Efficiency in multitasking ,
- Ability to prioritize simultaneous situations
