Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TVI) Position - Full Time
Blazer Jobs is hiring a qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time position in Littleton, Colorado. This role offers a starting rate of $40 per hour and an opportunity to work with a dynamic student population in a supportive school district. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum materials and use assistive technology to support access
- Collaborate with general education staff, special educators, and families
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
Requirements:
- Valid Colorado teaching license with a TVI endorsement
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education of the visually impaired or related field
- Minimum of one year of experience as a TVI in a school setting
- Knowledge of Braille and assistive technology preferred
