Student Trainee (Administration and Analysis)
This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States The Post Secondary Student Trainee will assist the Regional Administrator by providing administrative, program analysis, personnel, and office automation support. Post Secondary Students are TERM appointments NTE 4 years in the competitive service. Upon successful completion of all program requirements and at the agency's discretion, the student may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to a career/career-conditional appointment. See Additional Information section for more details. Duties As a Student Trainee (Administration and Analysis), duties will consist of, but not limited to the following:
- Uses personal computers with office applications to perform operations or prepare documents and uses on-line resources to obtain information from the Internet.
- Drafts, proofreads, and edits documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Performs basic evaluation, computations, calculations, and statistical analyses on management data.
- Attends meetings and takes notes, records minutes, and tracks milestones, and deadlines.
- Tracks and monitors incoming digital correspondence and telephone inquiries.
- Monitors supplies for the Agency employees (takes basic supply inventory, receives requests, places orders, distributes supplies, and maintains records).
- Supports stakeholder engagement event planning (e.g. conducts preliminary research for selection of event location; is responsible for logistical arrangements; obtaining interagency clearances, etc.)
