Position Summary: The Hospice LVN Runner provides essential nursing support across multiple patient locations, responding promptly to patient and family needs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely, high-quality care is delivered in patients’ homes or facilities. Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision, following established care plans.
- Travel to various patient locations to administer medications, perform assessments, and address urgent clinical needs.
- Communicate effectively with the hospice team, patients, and families.
- Document care accurately and promptly.
- Maintain supplies and equipment in your vehicle to respond quickly to patient needs.
- Qualifications:
Current LVN license in the state of [Insert State].
- Minimum 1 year of hospice or home health experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
