How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Advisory Developers in Atlanta, Georgia. Key Responsibilities:
- Work in the Decision Science Information Technology team, responsible for designing and developing web applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders, architects, developers, and data scientists to bring web experiences to life.
- Build web component libraries, templates, and client-side applications that will be deployed across a wide range of platforms and environments.
- Leverage the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks to produce experiences that push industry standards for accessibility, usability, and performance.
- Create usable user interfaces and code.
- Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field, and 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related technical field. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or a related field, and 5 years of experience in software engineering or related technical field. Must have experience in:
- HTML, JavaScript, and using CSS preprocessors and modern principles of JavaScript development
- Web application frameworks and microservices architecture using tools including JQuery, RESTful APIs, and Graph QL
- Angular and Python
- Serverless and containerized architectures including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift along with deploying and managing infrastructures based on clouds including Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
