Online Cyber Network Security Academic Support Specialist

Responsibilities ? Works with students to develop their academic skills both in general and in the online classroom environment. ? Provides assistance with study skills such as reading, note-taking, organization, and time management coaching, tutoring, mentoring and academic technology support ? Work Hours - Afternoons/Evenings and one Weekend day ? Reliable high-speed internet required ? Required to tutor live in Zoom

Qualifications

Education/Certifications: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science from a regionally accredited institution. Experience: ? 1-2 years work experience within the past 5 years required ? Coursework in Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing preferred Required Skills: ? Knowledge of the OSI and TCP/IP Models ? Knowledge of Network and Server Administration ? Experience supporting distance learning students in higher education or other setting ? Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment ? Ability to prioritize multiple, competing tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment ? Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of both current practices and emerging trends in distance learning and related technologies ? Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills ?
