Make a Difference When It Counts. Delta Medical Transport (DMT) is building a list of qualified and interested EMS providers for the 2025 wildland fire season. While contracts are not guaranteed, we are preparing for potential standby and deployment opportunities. These seasonal assignments are fast-paced, high-demand roles supporting wildland fire operations across Alaska. If you are adventurous, adaptable, and interested in working on a crew that makes an impact, we want to hear from you! Who Should Apply We are looking for: • EMT-I, EMT-II, EMT-III, AEMT, and Paramedic-level providers • Providers with wildland experience or ICS familiarity (preferred, not required) • EMS professionals seeking short-term, well-compensated deployments • Individuals who are flexible, physically fit, and can work in remote or rugged environments Minimum Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid drivers license • Current State of Alaska EMT certification (EMT-I or above) • Current BLS certification • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening • Willingness to deploy statewide on short notice Preferred Qualifications • Red Card or NWCG certifications • Fireline EMS experience • ICS 100/200/700/800 • Wilderness or remote medicine experience Benefits of Joining the Fire Season Candidate Pool Potential for high-pay, short-term assignments Gain valuable field and fireline experience Be first in line for deployment if contracts are activated Work with an experienced, mission-driven EMS crew Opportunity to support wildfire mitigation and public safety across Alaska Note: These are not guaranteed deployments.
