Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Overview Akuity is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5+ years of experience. This remote role involves designing and maintaining automated tests, improving product quality, and working with technologies like Golang, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development and testing.

• Proficiency in Golang and test automation frameworks.

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, S3).

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.

• Strong debugging skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright.

• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain automated test frameworks in Golang.

• Develop and execute test plans and automated test cases across environments.

• Manage test environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.

• Troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.

• Collaborate with development and product teams for test coverage.

• Contribute to the improvement of testing infrastructure and tools.

• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
