We are looking for SRE Architect - Remote / Telecommute for our client in SeaTac, WA Job Title: SRE Architect - Remote / Telecommute Job Location: SeaTac, WA Job Type: Contract Job Description: Pay Range: $80hr- $85hr Responsibilities: ? Develop SRE strategy documents to advance the maturity of managed services. ? Prepare target state SRE operating models and develop product backlogs at the application level to gain SRE maturity. ? Implement portfolio-wide SRE life cycles of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement. ? Scale systems through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve SRE maturity, reliability, velocity, and operational excellence. ? Implement change management best practices. ? Propagate sustainable incident response ensuring services meet their SLIs/SLOs. ? Implement error budget policies. ? Implement best practices in observability, reliability, and release engineering. Qualifications: ? Proven experience in SRE transformation for large IT portfolios. ? Expertise in chaos engineering and improving SRE maturity, reliability, and velocity. ? Strong background in building strategic partnerships with stakeholders. ? Ability to develop and implement SRE strategies and operating models. ? Proficiency in scaling systems through automation and improving operational excellence. ? Knowledge of change management best practices and incident response. ? Experience in implementing error budget policies and best practices in observability, reliability, and release engineering.
