Marketing & Communications Specialist - CPA Firm

Our fast-growing CPA Firm is looking for a highly skilled Marketing & Communications Specialist. If you love crafting compelling content, engaging audiences across multiple platforms, and supporting business growth through strategic marketing, this role is for you. We need a strong writer and communicator who can take ownership of content marketing (blogs, email, social media, etc.), while also assisting with client communications and talent acquisition, including job postings, candidate screenings, and follow-ups. Job Responsibilities Marketing & Content (60-65%) • Content Creation – Write and edit blogs, email newsletters, social media posts, and website copy related to tax and financial strategies • Social Media Management – Create and schedule engaging content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms • YouTube & Video Content Support – Assist in writing scripts and structuring content for video marketing. • Email Marketing – Manage and execute email campaigns, including newsletters, lead nurture sequences, and promotional emails. • Brand Messaging – Ensure consistency in voice and tone across all communication channels. • Analytics & Optimization – Track and analyze marketing performance metrics to refine content strategy. Recruiting & HR Support (25-30%) • Job Postings & Ads – Write and post job descriptions on platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn. • Application Review – Screen applications to identify top candidates. • Initial Candidate Outreach – Coordinate and conduct initial screening interviews. • Interview Scheduling – Organize interviews with hiring managers and maintain applicant communication. Administrative Support (5-10%) • Assist with light administrative tasks such as client follow-ups and report preparation • Provide input on improving marketing and hiring workflows • Track marketing campaign performance and create reports. The Ideal Candidate: • Experience & Expertise – At least 2-5 years of full-time experience in content marketing, social media marketing, digital marketing, or a related field. • Exceptional Written Communicator – This role involves daily writing of up to 2,000 words, including blogs, emails, and social media content. Must be able to write clearly, concisely, and in an engaging manner. • Strong Verbal Communicator – Comfortable leading presentations, interacting with clients, employees, and vendors, and representing the firm professionally. • Proficient in Marketing Tools – Experience with platforms such as WordPress, Google Analytics, CRM & Email Marketing platforms, and Social Media Platforms (e.g., Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Business Manager). • Tech-Savvy & Detail-Oriented – Highly proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar, Drive). • Problem Solver & Fast Learner – Able to take initiative, figure out solutions independently, and adapt quickly. • Process-Driven & Organized – Capable of multitasking and managing multiple priorities efficiently. • Bonus: Familiarity with Tax & Accounting – Knowledge of tax planning, tax preparation, or accounting is a plus but not required.
