Principal Application Support (PST)

job summary: Location: Westlake Texas Required Skills • Extensive experience in Brokerage application development and support with strong proven understanding of languages like Java/Spring MVC, Node JS, GO • Experience in microservices architecture & development for cloud location: Roanoke, Texas job type: Contract salary: $71 - 72 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: • Extensive experience in performance tuning, monitoring, solving application issues in a EKS infrastructure • Extensive experience with setting up Application alerting and monitoring in a cloud environment qualifications: Education and Certifications • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred • MSCE or A+ certification is required, with MSCE preferred • AWS certifications preferred (AWS SysOps, DevOps) skills: • Experience handling On-call production support and debugging application issues • Brokerage back-office systems knowledge would be a plus • Flexibility and adaptability to learn and support new technologies on the cloud • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage your time, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team environment Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
