Location: Austin, TX - vibrant, growing city in the center of Texas with access to Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. The mission of the traveling is to provide access to high-quality cancer screenings to high-risk women across the Central Texas region. Opportunity: Opening is for a Mammography Technician to work on the employer's traveling mammography bus. The bus is a new, clean, state-of-the-art full size vehicle with an incredible internal suite. Schedule is 30 hours/week, 7am-6pm, WednesdayFriday with the ability to shift to ThursdaySaturday, as needed. A driver will accompany the technician to locations up to an hour from Georgetown, TX. Requirements: Associate or more advanced degree. Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists licensed in Mammography - ARRT(M). Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification (MRT) from Texas Medical Board or Texas Department of State Health Services. Minimum experience of two years as a Radiologic Technologist in Mammography. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
