Nomura Services India, located in Powai, supports Nomura's businesses around the world. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura's global business. The Fixed Income Electronic Markets team is responsible for managing Nomura's Rates and Credit Electronic trading offering, overseeing client distribution, development of the electronic platform, and supporting electronic trading activity. Responsibilities Work with local and regional FI Electronic Markets team in EMEA/Asia/US hours to understand FI products and business workflows on various execution platforms like Bloomberg, Tradeweb and MarketAxess. , Partner with regional leads and product managers to generate adhoc data as and when requested. , Take initiatives to automate some of the repetitive manual BAU tasks. , Gain knowledge on Fixed Income business and apply the knowledge to build automated workflows. Requirements Minimum 1/2 years of experience working within markets. , Hands-on Python or VBA macros and technology mind-set is a must. , Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are critical. , Knowledge of data manipulation tools - Alteryx or Power BI is a must. , Knowledge of OTC and Cash, Swaps Fixed Income products and markets is desirable. , Exposure to electronic trading is desirable. , Excellent teamwork and communication skills. , Ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders and interact with all levels of individuals in the business. , Ability to multi-task and work in a high pressure and dynamic environment is critical.
