Employment Type: Full-time, Contract School Year: 2024/2025 Company: Kentucky School District - partnered with VocoVision Overview: Vocovision Teletherapy is assisting a K-12 school district in Kentucky set up interviews for their Teacher for the Visually Impaired opening. This is a fully remote position based in Kentucky for the full 2024-2025 school year, offering the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact on the education of visually impaired students. Responsibilities: Provide virtual instruction and support services to visually impaired students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Develop and implement appropriate educational plans and instructional materials Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure students' educational needs are met Assess students' progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and services provided Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Education of the Visually Impaired or related field Kentucky state teaching certification in Visual Impairments (TVI certification) Experience working with K-12 students with visual impairments, preferably in a remote or virtual setting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Comfortable using technology and virtual platforms for educational purposes How to Apply: To apply for this fully remote position for the 2024/2025 school year, please respond directly to this posting or send an updated copy of your resume highlighting your experience to Natalie Sauselein at [email protected].
