About the position The Senior Product Manager for Guest Messaging at Target is responsible for leading the development and implementation of the Guest Messaging Platform. This role focuses on enhancing back-end capabilities to create a dynamic and guest-focused messaging experience. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate with various partners across digital, marketing, and merchandising to ensure a cohesive and scalable ecosystem, ultimately improving guest experience and digital conversion. Responsibilities • Lead and define product implementation for the Guest Messaging Platform. , • Develop a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap, setting key business objectives (OKRs). , • Leverage product knowledge and customer feedback to assess value and prioritize product direction. , • Act as the 'voice of the product' to key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met. , • Maintain a product roadmap and backlog, prioritizing high-impact work for the team and stakeholders. , • Encourage open exchange of information and viewpoints among team members. , • Foster a sense of urgency to achieve goals and overcome obstacles. Requirements • Four-year degree or equivalent experience. , • 6+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience in guest messaging. , • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing communication strategies that drive guest engagement and growth. , • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. , • Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams. , • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas). , • Ability to lead a body of work with cross-functional partners. , • Strong communication skills.
