Job Title: Part-Time Human Resources Assistant Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Human Resources Assistant to become an integral member of our remote team. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate Candidate Communication: Oversee candidate interactions, including interview scheduling and follow-up communications. • Conduct Interviews: Engage with candidates to assess qualifications and ensure alignment with team needs. • Onboard New Hires: Facilitate an inclusive onboarding process that ensures new employees feel welcomed and equipped for success. • Source Candidates: Utilize social media platforms, including LinkedIn, to identify and connect with potential candidates. • Pre-screen Applicants: Evaluate resumes and online portfolios to determine candidate suitability. • Collaborate on Job Requirements: Work in conjunction with the hiring manager to clarify and define the requirements for each position. • Send Recruiting Communications: Draft and distribute engaging recruitment emails to prospective candidates and follow up as necessary. • Build a Talent Pool: Create and maintain a network of potential candidates for future hiring needs. • Maintain Candidate Records: Update and log candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other relevant databases. • Track Recruitment Metrics: Monitor and report on essential recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill and sources of hire. Required Skills • Demonstrated experience in an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or a similar administrative role in human resources. • Proficiency in utilizing social media and professional platforms for recruiting purposes. • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Familiarity with ATS software for effective candidate tracking. • Basic understanding of labor laws and human resources best practices. • Excellent organizational and time-management capabilities, with a talent for prioritizing tasks efficiently. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for engaging with candidates and team members professionally. Qualifications • Relevant experience in HR or administrative roles is essential, highlighting the ability to manage tasks effectively. • An educational background in Human Resources or a related field is preferred, with an associate’s degree or equivalent being an advantage.
