We are actively seeking a versatile professional who excels in curating and moderating news articles and their sources. There is no original reporting involved in this role. Responsibilities: Collaborate with AI development teams to understand project requirements and contribute insights from an editorial perspective, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Review content against the client organizations community standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of data labeling processes, providing feedback and suggestions for optimization. Stay attuned to the news cycle throughout the day, making decisions on sending out notifications and breaking news alerts. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Journalism, Library & Information Science, Communications, English, or a closely related field is required. Proficient understanding of the US news cycle and media landscape. Availability to work at least one weekend day each week. Proven experience in managing high-volume content workflows. Maintain the flexibility to adapt to a fast paced work environment and efficiently master new information and tasks Excellent teamwork capabilities with a focus on effective communication and collaborative problem-solving. Must be based in the US, with a preference for candidates on the West Coast or in Hawaii. Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.
