Our Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical Client is seeking a motivated Medical Benefit Investigation Specialist to join their remote team. In this role, you will proactively contact insurance providers and patients to verify benefits and eligibility for medical services, ensuring smooth access to care. Position: Remote Medical Benefits Specialist Pay: $17/hr. Full time/ Weekly Pay plus Benefits Schedule: 8am-8pm CST. M-Fri (8hr Shift between these hours) Equipment Provided and Shipped Start Date: November 2024 Key Responsibilities: Conduct outbound calls to insurance companies to verify patient benefits and coverage. Investigate and resolve benefit-related issues and discrepancies. Communicate with patients to explain their benefits. Maintain accurate records of benefit investigations in the system. Qualifications: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OR MORE OF MEDICAL BENEFITS EXPERIENCE (NO EXCEPTIONS) Experience in medical benefit investigation (preferred but not required). Call center experience (preferred but not required) Strong understanding of health insurance plans and coverage. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
