Responsibilities: • Precise and Prompt Delivery: Deliver merchandise with precision by adhering to traffic laws and regulations, driving safely and swiftly to ensure the timely arrival of products at the allocated destinations. • Offering polite and competent assistance to Costco members during deliveries is key. Handle customer inquiries or concerns quickly and efficiently, leaving a positive impression with every interaction. • Confirm the precise contents of each delivery and alert the appropriate parties of any errors or inconsistencies. • A well-optimized route plan can unlock significant gains in productivity and reduce fuel spending. Take advantage of cutting-edge GPS and software tools to identify and navigate the most efficient delivery routes. • Take responsibility for performing regular checks on delivery vehicles, such as monitoring fluid levels, tire pressure, and the overall condition of the vehicles. Promptly inform management of any maintenance problems or issues. • Follow the delivery operations company policies and procedures which include safety protocols, delivery schedules, and vehicle maintenance guidelines. Ensure compliance with all regulations relevant to the job responsibilities. Qualifications: • Possessing a clean driving record and an active license to drive legally. • Applicants who have previous experience in delivery driving or a related occupation are strongly encouraged to apply. • Exceptional expertise in customer service with a genial and polished demeanor. • Having the capability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks involved in the transfer of merchandise. • Being highly attentive to particulars and having exceptional organizational skills. • The job mandates the availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Having knowledge of GPS navigation systems and software for planning routes is a plus. • A pronounced dedication towards safety and observance of traffic laws and regulations.
