Summary: Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Responsible for complex concept design through the full development life cycle. Prepares and conducts systems programming test requiring interfacing and software tests. Coaches others in less senior positions. Job Description / Responsibilities: Write code, perform code reviews, troubleshoot all features and designs of multiple projects. Design, review, consult on solutions including diagrams, artifacts and reusability. Conduct proof-of-concepts using new technologies, patterns and practices, software toolsets. Be the Engineering representative for large scale initiatives where there are multiple subprojects that require a combination of software development expertise, software architecture expertise and data engineering knowledge. Recommend, consult with other developers and teams to develop simplistic, pragmatic and cost effective/profitable solutions, including working proofs-of-concept. Have knowledge in front end (UI), middle (API and Service) and back end (data storage and retrieval) and leverage that knowledge to mentor and direct other developers. Skills / Abilities: Angular/React SpringBoot RESTful service/API development Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) DevSecOps (CI/CD pipeline development Automated testing, Dynamic infrastructure provisioning, etc.) Mobile development AI/ML experience Ability to work on multiple projects at once and context switch easily. Must have demonstrated communication skills at all levels, internal and customer facing. Programming languages such as Java, Kotlin as well as Python Domicile Information: This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States.
