TASK is seeking independent contractors with experience using MAXScribe and/or another AI transcription app to edit transcripts of hearings, depositions, etc. If you can edit an average of at least 90 minutes of audio per day, five days per week and especially if you can receive, own, and complete a 2+ hour hearing late in the day and return it overnight, we want to talk to you. A willingness to work during some weekends is appreciated. AAERT and/or NCRA certifications are a bonus. Some straight transcription work may be available. Once established with TASK, the opportunity to become a Team Leader, managing the work of other editor/transcriptionists is possible. If you are accurate, reliable, and communicate with us, we expect to be working together for a long time. We invest heavily in providing you with the best possible opportunity to succeed with us. We start you with samples, style guides, and templates as well as a coach to help you learn the account(s) for which you will transcribe. Once you master this we do as much as possible to stay out of your way. You will need your own transcription software and MS Word.
