Responsibilities • Accurately enter information into databases and software programs using keyboards or optical scanners. • Transcribe data from audio and video content and upload data from various sources. • Review source documents like checks, sales reports, and bills to ensure accurate data entry. • Compile, sort, and verify the accuracy of demographic, financial, and customer data before entry. • Compare entered data with source documents and use verification formats to correct any errors. • Maintain detailed operational records and logs of completed work. • Follow organizational processes to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. • Prioritize data entry tasks based on organizational needs or guidance from team leadership. • Review and correct customer and account data as necessary, ensuring it remains accurate and up-to-date. • Regularly purge files to avoid data duplication and perform database backups to secure information. • Maintain confidentiality and protect operations by keeping sensitive information secure. • Suggest improvements for data collection processes, including form and template designs. • Operate office equipment as needed to support data entry tasks. • Contribute to the team's success by assisting with related tasks as needed. Skills And Qualifications • Quick and accurate typing and word processing skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • High level of integrity and respect for confidentiality. • Ability to read, evaluate, and verify a wide range of materials to identify and correct discrepancies. • Comfortable with technology and adaptable to new processes and tools. • Effective communication and active listening skills. • Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team. • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Comfortable with repetitive tasks. Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in data entry, clerical work, or an office environment preferred. • Basic computer skills. • Experience with data-entry software or cloud storage is a plus.
