Cyber Security SME - Baghdad, Iraq Qualifications... • Active DoD Secret Clearance • Valid and current US Passport Location: • Baghdad, Iraq Job Summary: We are seeking a Cyber Security SME for a position based in Baghdad, Iraq. The successful candidate will conduct on-site collaboration with the I-MoD and related agencies for the purposes of collecting data and information to analyze and determine the requirements of the I-MoD to develop in-depth assessment and cyber defense roadmap to enhance information assurance. The Cyber Security SME is responsible for the collection and documentation of all information necessary to develop the solution roadmap in accordance with Allied Information Technology (AIT). Duties: • Assist with the establishment of a cyber defense unit • Assist with cyber security, cyber defense, NATO (Cyber Military Operations), networking security, and information assurance related functions • Developing requirements to achieve Initial and Full Operational defensive capabilities in cyberspace • Development of future requirements • Collaborate with agencies within the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (I-MoD) • Completion of an in-depth Assessment and Validation of current needs in regard to cyber defense and information assurance (existing networks, risks, and vulnerabilities) • Review of existing I-MoD policies and procedures • Development of comprehensive policies, cyber defense force structure plans and policies • Development and validation of technical, training and sustainment plans in support of future integrated strategy phases • Development of Information Technology system policies and procedures to address critical risk and vulnerabilities • Development of operational and technical requirements for a system(s) solution in support of Initial and Final Operational Capability (IOC and FOC) • Provide liaison support through understanding and translation of Partnership Programs into I-MoD policy requirements • Transfer of knowledge, best practices, skills and techniques through on-the-ground presence of the advisory team • May be required to provide left seat right seat training to the i-MoD to assist with understanding cyber security, cyber defense, and information assurance related functions Required Experience / Qualifications (Must Have) • Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security IA & Policy or another related field. • 5-7 Years of experience in the field of Cyber Security. • Proficient in the use of computer-based data analysis tools. • Functional knowledge of cross-domain solutions, IT enterprise architectures, and cyber security practices. • 10 Years of related experience to program management. • Experience dealing with C-Level Executives or high-level military officers. • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. • Possess a valid and current US Passport. • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25%. Preferred Experience / Qualifications (Nice to Have) Certifications: CompTIA SECURITY+, ISC^2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
