Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and deliver engaging instructional lessons that promote the educational, social, and physical development of students. Use considerable judgment, tact, patience, and sensitivity to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles. Employ creativity and adaptive thinking to align teaching objectives and strategies with students' needs and abilities. Interpret and apply State, local, and Federal laws and regulations related to education, ensuring compliance and effective instructional methodologies. Provide both in-person and virtual instruction in core academic subjects to help students reach their full potential. Develop students' competencies and skills necessary for successful participation in society. Apply current education theories, methodologies, and principles, and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Manage student behavior, communicate effectively using various media, and work collaboratively with colleagues. Organize and maintain records, manage time and resources efficiently, and evaluate student performance while providing constructive feedback. Utilize a strong understanding of Internet, web technology, and various applications to support student learning and address technology issues.

Qualifications

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Proven experience in Special Education Teaching. Comfort with onsite work in Austin, TX. Strong knowledge of child and adolescent development. Ability to manage student behavior and use technology effectively. Experience with computer setup, navigation, and troubleshooting.

Compensation
