As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing medical reports dictated by mental health professionals. Accuracy, attention to detail, and knowledge of medical terminology are essential for this role. If you have excellent typing skills and a strong understanding of medical documentation, we encourage you to apply. This is a contracted position and not benefited. Responsibilities: - Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare professionals and transcribe them into written reports - Review and edit transcriptions for accuracy, grammar, and clarity - Ensure that transcribed reports are formatted correctly and adhere to established guidelines - Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear or ambiguous dictations - Research medical terms and procedures as needed to ensure accurate transcription - Manage and organize transcription files and documents Requirements: - Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role - Proficient in transcribing medical reports accurately and efficiently - In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology - Familiarity with medical office procedures and documentation requirements - Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy - Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in transcriptions - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
