[Remote] Aftersales Account Manager

Nikon SLM Solutions is a leading provider of metal based additive manufacturing technology, and they are seeking a customer-focused After Sales Account Manager to support their Americas Business Unit. This role serves as the primary liaison between SLM Solutions and their customers after the initial machine sale, ensuring optimal customer experience, support, and satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Americas region
- Drive customer success by supporting daily production operations and technical needs
- Promote and sell after-sales offerings including service contracts, training, consumables, and upgrading products
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Machine Sales, Business Development, and Service Engineers across a global environment
- Lead or contribute to internal projects related to services and operations
- Maintain long-term relationships with customers, focusing on retention and satisfaction
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in account management, preferably in industrial B2B environments
- Industry knowledge in aerospace, automotive, healthcare, energy, or tooling sectors
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with a customer-first, problem-solving attitude
- Ability to manage projects and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively
- Familiarity with additive manufacturing is a plus
