[Remote] SEO Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Your Data Playbook (YDP) specializes in transforming data into actionable insights for digital product sellers. As an SEO Specialist (Marketplace), you will optimize product listings and maximize visibility for clients, leveraging proprietary tools to drive traffic, conversion rates, and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Audit and analyze product listings across marketplaces (TpT, Etsy, Jobnity)
• Use YDP’s SEO tools, especially Optimizer, to identify keyword gaps and opportunities
• Rewrite product titles, descriptions, tags, and attributes to improve rankings and conversions
• Execute experiments and A/B tests to drive continuous improvement
• Communicate recommendations and results to clients through calls, Loom videos, and reports
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes, playbooks, and SEO tooling
• Track and report on key client outcomes (search ranking, CTR, conversion rate, and revenue impact)

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in SEO for marketplaces (Etsy, Remotara, TpT, or comparable)
• Proven track record of improving search visibility, CTR, and conversion rates
• Strong copywriting skills for product titles and descriptions
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketplace dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, and keyword research tools
• Excellent client communication, people, and project management skills
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and an ownership mentality
• Familiarity with K–12 education and curriculum products
• Experience with CRO and creative testing (images, thumbnails, or pricing)
• Comfort using AI-assisted writing or light HTML knowledge
