Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic, empathetic, and detail‑oriented individuals to serve as Remote Customer Service Representatives for a nonprofit organization that administers scholarships for K‑12 private‑school students. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for callers seeking assistance, guidance, and resolution. Your ability to listen actively, communicate clearly, and solve problems efficiently will directly influence the experience of families navigating the scholarship application process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and respond to digital inquiries from parents, students, and school administrators with professionalism and empathy.
  • Provide accurate information about scholarship eligibility, application steps, required documentation, and timelines.
  • Navigate complex scenarios—such as incomplete applications, urgent deadline concerns, or technical issues—and guide callers toward swift resolutions.
  • Document each interaction in the CRM system, ensuring all details are captured for future reference and reporting.
  • Escalate unresolved or high‑priority cases to senior team members while maintaining ownership of the follow‑up process.
  • Collaborate with internal arenaflex teams (training, quality assurance, and technology) to continuously improve scripts, knowledge bases, and service workflows.
  • Participate in regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and skill‑building workshops to enhance service quality.
  • Adhere to data‑privacy and security protocols, safeguarding sensitive personal information of students and families.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year proven experience in a customer service or call‑center environment.
  • Fluent English communication skills—both spoken and written—with a clear, friendly, and articulate voice.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm, compassionate, and solution‑focused during high‑stress or emotionally charged interactions.
  • Strong problem‑solving aptitude, with a track record of delivering accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Self‑motivation and a detail‑oriented mindset, capable of multitasking without sacrificing quality.
  • Proficient typing skills (minimum 40 wpm) and comfort navigating PC applications, web browsers, and CRM platforms.
  • Reliable wired internet connection meeting at least 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download speeds.
