Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Inbound Call Management: Answer a high volume of inbound calls from arenaflex cardholders, delivering courteous, accurate, and timely assistance.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve inquiries ranging from account balances and transaction disputes to fraud alerts and service requests.
  • Sales Authorization & Upselling: Authorize approved sales transactions, identify cross‑sell opportunities, and recommend additional arenaflex products that meet the customer’s needs.
  • Data Accuracy: Maintain up‑to‑date, precise customer records in arenaflex’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
  • Relationship Building: Build trust with each caller by listening actively, empathizing with concerns, and delivering personalized solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teammates, supervisors, and other departments (e.g., fraud, collections, and underwriting) to resolve complex issues.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on call scripts, process enhancements, and technology tools to help evolve arenaflex’s customer experience.

Essential Qualifications – What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in any industry, or equivalent experience gained through military service.
  • Ability to meet the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act (details available on the arenaflex careers page).
  • Residency within a 2½‑hour commute of Rapid City, SD, to accommodate mandatory in‑person training sessions.
  • Proficient computer skills, including multitasking across multiple windows, typing while speaking, and navigating Microsoft Outlook.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with a proven track record of handling complex inquiries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and empathy.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; arenaflex does not sponsor employment visas.
  • Willingness to undergo a background investigation, drug test, and fingerprinting as part of the hiring process.
  • Age 18 or older.
