Job Description
We are looking for a well experienced QA engineer that has experience with Cypress and/or Playwright. The expectation is to have the QA person help contribute to the growth of our automation test suite and help create best practices around automation testing.
Qualifications
Required 3+ years of direct experience with testing systems Experience with automated testing systems and testing browsers such as Cypress and Playwright. Be able to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and UX resources to design manual and automated test cases that have clearly understood entry and success criteria. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Worked as part of an agile or scrum team and participation in key daily / weekly scrum ceremonies working with issue tracking tools (ex. JIRA/Confluence) Be familiar with the principles behind cross-browser / cross form-factor testing of web applications. Have success working with and testing responsive web applications on multiple devices. Familiar with API testing and experience executing SQL queries Experience writing automation test scrips Nice to have Have a clear and decisive understanding of defect logging and resolution best practices. Have experience using QA productivity toolsets (ex., Saucelabs). Understand HTML5, React and CSS layout concepts -- and how they render in the browser. Have experience testing remote services (APIs, REST, and WebServices / SOAP). Working knowledge of Ajax concepts, JSON, REST API integration An understanding of the HTTP stack (ex. methods, headers, caching, etc) Experience with QA test technologies such as jUnit and X-ray 508 compliance testing using Jaws preferred Additional Information Intevity offers a competitive and comprehensive employee compensation and benefits package that includes base salary, medical, dental, and vision insurance, long and short-term disability insurance, life insurance, 401k program with company match, and an open PTO plan.
