What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

Customer Acquisition and Consultative Sales

  • Engage with inbound customer inquiries via phone, chat, and email to introduce arenaflex’s full portfolio of products and services.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by carefully listening to customer needs and recommending the right solutions from our latest lineup of devices, plans, and accessories.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores.
  • Build rapport quickly and create meaningful connections that drive customer loyalty and long-term retention.

Customer Service and Account Management

  • Handle new service requests, guiding customers through the setup of voice, internet, and wireless plans.
  • Address existing customer needs including billing inquiries, payment processing, plan changes, upgrades, and account adjustments.
  • Explain customer bills, rate plans, and product features in clear, simplified terms that eliminate confusion.
  • Maintain accurate customer records using multiple internal tools, systems, and platforms.

Technical Support and Issue Resolution

  • Perform basic troubleshooting for internet, voice, and data service issues.
  • Escalate complex technical problems to Tier 3 support teams when necessary, ensuring customers always receive timely resolutions.
  • Stay current on the latest product features, network capabilities, and promotional offers so you can serve as a knowledgeable resource for every interaction.

Operational Excellence

  • Work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including breaks, lunches, and scheduled open availability to ensure customers can reach you when they need help.
  • Be flexible to work day, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts based on business needs, with occasional overtime as required.
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities that may include collections, retention, sales channel coordination, billing adjustments, and advanced technical support.

What You Bring: Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications

  • Residency Requirement: You must reside in one of the following states to qualify for this remote position: Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.
  • Previous experience in a call center, customer service, retail sales, or inside sales environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Reliable, secure, and dedicated high-speed internet service with a direct LAN connection.
  • A dedicated workspace that meets remote work standards, including a desk, chair, and electrical outlet, in a quiet and secure environment.
  • Flexibility to work any shift during hours of operation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a previous role.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, ticketing systems, or multi-channel communication tools.
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems quickly.
  • Previous experience in telecommunications, wireless, cable, or internet service industries.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.

  • Competitive hourly starting rate of $16.40 per hour or higher, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education.
  • Uncapped commission structure with the potential to earn up to $3,000 per month in additional commissions when sales goals are met.

  • Availability and accountability during established work schedules, with adherence to security, compliance, performance management, and remote monitoring policies.
