Area Sales OfficerArea Sales OfficerJob Summary:** The Area Sales Officer at Piramal Pharma Limited is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving sales targets within an assigned geographical area. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the effective promotion and distribution of the company's pharmaceutical products. Job Responsibilities:** * Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and objectives for the assigned territory.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to maximize market penetration and revenue.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders, doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular visits to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and stockists to promote products and gather market intelligence.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on product features, benefits, and proper usage through presentations and one-on-one discussions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding receivables within the territory.
  • Adhere to all company policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and product launches as required.

Job Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, product knowledge, and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
