  Job Summary Nexora Health is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the pharmacy operations by performing various technical and clerical tasks. You will assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.   • Medication Preparation: Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications, including counting, labeling, and packaging.

Â

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients by addressing their inquiries, processing prescription orders, and offering medication counseling under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Â

  • Order Processing: Review and process prescription orders, including verifying medication information and ensuring the proper dosage and instructions.

Â

  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage medication inventory levels, place orders for stock replenishment, and ensure proper storage of medications.

Â

  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state pharmacy regulations, including maintaining accurate records and handling controlled substances in accordance with legal requirements.

Â

  • Technical Support: Assist in the resolution of technical issues related to pharmacy software and equipment.

Â

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medication logs.

 Required Skills and Qualifications Â

  • Certification: Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or equivalent state certification.

Â

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with pharmacy software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Â

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.

Â

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.

Â

  • Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle sensitive information with discretion.

 Experience Â

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a retail or clinical setting.

Â

  • Experience with Remote Work: Previous experience working remotely is preferred but not required.

 Working Hours Â

  • Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings, as needed.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Â

  • Pharmacy Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical terminology, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.

  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve issues related to medication and patient care.
